I had written 10,000 words of R3 Diet, when tragically I'd lost every single letter of the rough draft. It 's like it disappeared in cyberspace. I reached out to my Editor, my publishing house, my hubs...and NO ONE could help me retrieve it.
I was the only one that had possession of it. I was the only one who'd been saving it. I was the only one who lost it in it's entirety. I searched every inch of my computer (even parts I'd never even knew existed). I searched every possible password, working title & key word. ...But nothing.
After a few weeks of desperately searching, I called it quits. Everyone suggested I just start over from scratch, but I REFUSED! I was so angry that I felt justified in just giving up. After about 6 months, the rough draft of R3 Diet miraculously showed up. I don't know what I was doing on my computer or what key I punched, but it showed up on my screen.
I was ecstatic. I still remember my hands shaking as I went to work immediately & excitedly to complete the R3 Diet book. I am convinced that if those words had never magically appeared on my screen again, that book would have never been written. I guess that's a testament to the negative side of being stubborn.
#2 I've come a long way from bologna sandwiches
Since my mom was a single parent who was always away at work, she had cheap foods convenient foods like luncheon meats, ramen noodles & boxed cereal in the fridge.
Ahhhh yes, Nitrites, Sodium, Sugar, Chemicals & absolutely no nutritional value. I am pretty certain that the frequency of eating these non-foods is what ushered in my sugar addiction (more on that later). I always jokingly say, "If I can stick to R3 Diet with my food history, anyone can!".
#3 I did my very 1st detox after devouring a box of Krispy Kreme
Have you ever been there? A point in your life that caused you to feel so low that you felt a deep conviction in your heart that you were cheating no one but yourself.
#4 Here are 3 foods/drinks I used to hate, but now love
I used to hate (I use this word sparingly)
#5 R3 Diet helps retrain your tastebuds
Did you know??
Individuals are born with approx 10,000 tastebuds?
And like all living cells, they regenerate by dying, getting sloughed away, then reproduce. A normal taste bud cycle is a mere 10 days. This is why if you have a goal to lose weight or eliminate sugar/caffeine cravings, you should do an eating detox that is at LEAST 10 days long.
I don't care that I've been on R3 Diet for at least 10 years....I still HATE
Oh well, it is what it is.
#7 My FAVE Model Body Inspiration
Yes, you can be in the wellness profession and still have a body inspo. I only have 1 & her name is Tina Kunakey. I love her energy, body & hair. I literally don't know much about her other than she is a fashion model & she is married to an older actor named Vincent Cassel.
.
#8 It is 10 years later & this grocery store statistic is still true
Here is an excerpt from my book. This stat has not budged. Information is at the everyone's fingertips right now and people's habits are still the same. The top 10 best selling grocery items are still the same. The top 10 diseases are still the same. The top 10 prescribed drugs are still the same.
This is proof that information has to become revelation. Revelation will then become transformation.
If I was told that I had to choose 1 practice to stay fit, healthy & energetic, and had to pick between DIET, FITNESS, SUPPLEMENTS or NATURE THERAPY....I would pick diet without batting an eye.
One of my fave things about R3 Diet, is that it works on 99% of the people who make it their lifestyle diet. It doesn't matter what their genetics, age or physical conditioning is.
R3 for Life babbbbyyyy!
*that was 18 inches for Denise. I mistakenly didn't add the 1.
IThe reason this is my fave testimonial is because she the following 3 words: Healthier Lifestyle FOREVER
That was my goal. Do you know the # 1 reason people quit diets?
It is because of deprivation. They have to cut out full food groups like carbs. They have to eliminate ice-cream forever. They have to use will-power each day. They have to have an ALL or NOTHING mentality. I researched the #1 reason people failed diets before I wrote 1 single word of R3 Diet. I felt like if I didn't includes a way to combat that, the diet would be a temporary diet & not a forever diet.

Wouldn't it be a good idea to create a course?
