R3 Method is comprised of 4 pillars:Fitness, Food,Supplements & Mindset. It always has been. It always will be. Each day this week, I'm going to break down why each pillar is important. I'm also going to share the Top 4 reasons, they need to be apart of your daily habits.
Today we will tackle FITNESS.
I want to start by giving you the Top 4 ways people ruin their fitness routines:
1. People workout on their own at home.
I have been training peeps for yearsssss and I witness people short-change themselves while I'm staring directly over them pushing them to push harder. I hear them say, "I cant" "I know my body" "This is all I've got" "I'm too sore" and on & on. I laugh at the thought of people now being encouraged to workout at home. If they stalled with the Trainer they paid challenging them, what the heck do you think they will do in the comfort of their home unsupervised? I will tell you: They will have compromised form, reduced intensity & drastically reduced potential & results.
2. Distractions
Unfortunately, peeps spend time texting, fb checking, talking on the phone or even watching tv while working out. There are many studies that demonstrate drastically more caloric burn by putting all of your focus on your breathing & physical exertion during workout.
3. Skipping beneficial & effective moves, combinations or tools bcs of unawareness, unavailability or just plain fear.
4. Demotivation
You can lose motivation because of not seeing results, boredom or lack of a wellness blueprint/plan.
Top 4 ways to KICK off an effective Fitness Routine:
1. Choose the right PRO to help you get started. Know what they stand for and their training style. This is huge. As an example: There are some trainers who literally endorse baby steps. They tell you that it's "realistic' for you to only lose 3-4 pounds/month. That is the most ridiculous advice on the planet! But nevertheless, that's some Pro's philosophy & strategy.
2. InjuriesPain/Prevention
Many people (especially over 40) believe that their injuries (knee issues/back issues/past surgery) is a deal-breaker for them doing a high-intensity interval workout. I've come to firmly believe 1.There is an alternative move for EVERYTHING that can be a suitable replacement for that particular move, yet still work that particular muscle group. 2. The human body is capable of way more than we give it credit for. The point: I've rarely seen a case where a person had to halt or forego a REAL workout with the exception of a short-term rehab.
3. Eliminate the excuse: I'm too out of shape to start.
If you are deconditioned, out of shape or have plateued, that is PROOF that you need to get your butt up and do what needs to be done.
4. Jump start with passion, energy & enthusiasm
I believe that you need to have at least a Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall Holistic & High Intensity Body Blast that is different than your regular routine. It will give you the ability to rev up your muscles, speed, agility, performance, fat loss & sculpt.
